Lester Dent

Lester Dent was one of the most prolific pulp fiction authors, best known for his character Doc Savage. As well as the Doc Savage books, he wrote short stories featuring his character for Doc Savage Magazine which began in March 1933 and become one of the top selling pulp magazines on the market.

Many of the Doc Savage novels are credited as being written by Kenneth Robeson when in actual fact all but about 20 were actually written by Lester Dent.
